She was stunningly gorgeous and kept her femininity to herself. Rory had to be strong and smart in a man's world. Handsome Connor is absolutely terrible, arrogant and relentless.and well, there aren't any visible positive traits to acknowledge at first. The whole series, so far, makes for a great break from drama and nonfiction reading for me. What I like about this book is the humour, the plot, the full-of-life characters, the underlying backstories and the developing connection between Connor and Rory. Their battle continues into adulthood as they enter the same careers in project management, and they contest an important building contract. Rory James and Connor O’Neil went toe-to-toe from their kindergarten years onward, and Rory was one of the few who would stand up to the spoiled bully, Connor.
